TechSmith transitioned to a subscription license model on February 12, 2025. Customers who had active Snagit, Camtasia, or Snagit/Camtasia Bundle maintenance agreements prior to this date were automatically transitioned over to our Business License model. On our price list, these “legacy” customers can benefit from our Legacy Business License pricing for seat extensions and renewals. Part numbers for legacy customers do not include a B but instead start with SN (for Snagit) or CM (for Camtasia). Here is a decoder for our legacy part numbers:

- Use New (N) part number for seat extensions for agreements with 11+ months remaining
- Use Extension (X) part number for seat extensions for agreements with less than 11 months remaining
- Request custom quote for extensions where the agreement has 18+ months remaining
Customers who had no active agreements prior to February 12, 2025 can purchase our new Business License. On the price list, the new Business License part numbers always include a B as the second letter:
