Snagit 2022 Crashes on Startup on macOS

Problem

The Snagit 2022 Editor crashes when I attempt to open it.

Solution

1. Open a Finder window and from the menu bar select Go > Go To Folder...
   
2. Copy and paste the following folder in this window and press return ~/Library/Group Containers/7TQL462TU8.com.techsmith.snagit/Snagit 2022/PendingCaptures
   
3. Clear out the files in this folder, restart Snagit and try again.
4. If the issue remains please try restarting the computer.
