Subscription Expired (1st notification)

Problem

I just received a notice that my subscription is expired. What do I do now?

Solution

This notification means that your Snagit or Camtasia subscription has expired and has not been renewed. Please follow one of the options below based on your situation:

If you're an individual user who purchased the software, you should have received email communication on how to renew. Some common scenarios where this happens are:

  1. I use manual billing and a bill was forgotten.
    • We understand, it happens. If this is you, you'll need to purchase a new license.
  2. My card information changed and I forgot to update it.
    • In this case, you should have received email communication with steps to fix the payment information. Since the product is expired past the period to fix this information, you'll need to purchase a new license.
  3. I cancelled the software, but have changed my mind.
    • In this case, you'll need to purchase a new license.

If any of the three scenarios above are what happened to you, please go to https://www.techsmith.com/products.html and purchase a new license. After purchasing, please contact Customer Care to update your subscription so you no longer see the subscription expired messaging: https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

If you purchased the software for your company and your users are getting the notification that it is expired, please contact our Customer Care team for assistance with renewing: https://www.techsmith.com/contact.html

If you're part of a company that provides Snagit or Camtasia to you and it is showing as expired, please reach out to your IT or purchasing teams to let them know that you still need the software.
