Problem
Camtasia presents an errorthat it is unable to verify license when attempting to launch. Camtasia periodically requires an internet connection to verify your license. Check your connection and try again.
Solution
Verify you're connected to the internet and click "Try again." If you're behind a proxy server or firewall, please add the following to its allowlist as found in our Proxy Server/Firewall article:
- my.nalpeiron.com
- nsa.nalpeiron.com
- https://login.techsmith.com
- https://updater.techsmith.com/
Camtasia also needs to be able to communicate over ports 443 and 80.
*You may only need port 443.
