To help protect our customers, TechSmith uses email security measures such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.  These technologies help verify that emails truly come from TechSmith and are not sent by an unauthorized source. Here’s what this means for you:

DKIM: TechSmith’s emails include a digital signature that your email provider can verify. This helps ensure that the email content has not been tampered with during transmission.

SPF: We authorize certain domains to send emails on behalf of TechSmith, which is checked by your email provider to verify it’s a trusted source.

DMARC: This policy helps prevent unauthorized or “spoofed” emails by directing email providers to reject or mark suspicious messages that fail our DKIM and SPF checks.

How You Can Verify

Look for TechSmith’s domain in the sender’s email address, and be cautious of any variations or misspellings.  Legitimate TechSmith emails should pass both DKIM and SPF checks. If you’re ever unsure, contact our support team before clicking any links or sharing personal information.
