Apple Silicon, Rosetta, and the M1/M2/M3 Chip
TechSmith Camtasia Mac 2020.0.19 and 2021.0.1 and later are now Universal apps that fully supports Apple Silicon. From the menu bar, select Camtasia> Check for Updates to install the latest version.
Prior versions of TechSmith Camtasia do not natively support Apple Silicon.
In order to record System Audio on an M1/M2/M3 chip, please follow these steps unless you are running macOS Ventura (13) or later. System audio is built-in to macOS 13 and later.
