Change Password to Protect My Account


I would like to update my password to keep my TechSmith account secure.

Or, I received an email about a security issue:



This indicates you are using a username or password that was disclosed as part of a breach in the past with some other organization or company.

Use the Reset password option in the email.

Or, follow these steps:

  1. Visit and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. On the Dashboard tab, select Manage account (icon_gears.png) > Reset password.


  3. You will receive a password reset email at your TechSmith email address. Confirm that you would like to proceed and enter a new password.


  4. If you are signed in to any TechSmith products or services (Snagit, Camtasia, Screencast), please sign out, and then sign in again with the new password.
