Add Seats to My Existing Subscription (Snagit/Camtasia Assets, Camtasia Audiate, Screencast Pro)

If you purchased a product subscription in our online store, follow these steps to add more seats:

1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
2. Go to the Online store orders tab.

3. In the product card, click Add seats.
   

   Not seeing the option to add seats?
   
   Snagit/Camtasia Individual Subscription: it's not possible to purchase additional seats as these subscriptions are for single users only. 
   Snagit/Camtasia Legacy License Subscription (formerly maintenance agreement): see this support article.
   Camtasia Audiate (monthly): it's not possible to purchase additional seats for monthly subscriptions.
4. Add seats to your subscription in New total seats. For example, if you have 4 seats and need 2 additional ones, enter 6.
5. Click Proceed to view the order summary.
6. You can view the total prorated price for the added seats, including taxes (you will be charged only for the time that remains until the current subscription end date). Click Purchase seats.
   
7. Click > Manage seats to assign these seats to the new end users, so they can start using the product. See this support article.
   

If you purchased a subscription directly via our sales team, follow these steps to add more seats or products to your subscription:

1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
2. Go to the Direct orders tab.
3. Select the needed subscription.
4. Click Add seats or products.
   
5. In New total seats, add more seats to your subscription. For example, if you have 2 seats, and need 4 additional ones, enter 6.
6. You can also add more products to your subscription.

7. Click Calculate to view the order summary.
   

   It's not possible to purchase additional seats for a monthly Camtasia Audiate subscription.
   Can't add other seats or products you're interested in? Please contact our sales team.
8. Order price (additional seats, new products, tax amount) are prorated.
   This means that instead of the full yearly or monthly price, you will be charged only for the time that remains until the current subscription end date.
9. If everything looks good, click Check out.
   
10. Select a payment method for your order.
11. Confirm the purchase.
    
12. Your order is placed, and you can view the purchased seats as Available.
13. Click Manage subscription > Manage seats to assign the seats to end users, so that they can start using the product. See this support article.
    

If less than 30 days remain before renewal, you can renew your subscription early with additional seats. The price for the added seats will be added to the renewal price of your current seats. 
 
You will keep the same renewal date. For example, if a subscription expires on May 29, 2027, and you renew it early, the next renewal date will be set to May 29, 2028.
