As for the Snagit or Camtasia individual subscription, it is for individuals only and is not transferable.
Check who has access to your subscription
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
- On the Dashboard, locate the product for which you need to manage seats.
- From the product menu, select Manage seats.
- On the Seats page, the product that you selected should be highlighted, and you can view who already has access to this particular product.
To check who has access to all of your products, select All users.
Assign seats via email or link
Available seats are the ones that haven't been assigned yet, and there are two ways to assign them.
Select Add users to enter the email addresses of the individuals who will be using this product.
If you have more emails to grant access than available seats, consider purchasing more seats.
Once you Assign seats, these individuals receive a notification with a link to the product.
You may have several products under one subscription ID.
If the same individuals will be using all of these products, you can select a subscription, and then add users to all products included in the subscription (instead of adding them for each product separately).
An alternative way to assign seats is to Get access link. This will generate a custom URL that is valid for 30 days. You can copy and share in an email or a text message.
This URL will direct the individuals to the sign-in screen of the product. After they sign into their TechSmith account, a seat will automatically be assigned to their TechSmith email.
Once all the seats have been distributed, any additional use of the URL will direct the user to an error message screen.
