About Seat Assignments
As the subscription owner or seat manager, you can grant product access to end users by assigning seats. On the Seats page, you can view and assign seats for all of your subscriptions:
- One-seat product subscriptions purchased in the online store.
- Multi-seat subscriptions purchased directly via our sales team.
There are two ways to assign seats:
- By entering the user’s email addresses.
- By generating a link and sending it to all users.
About Seat Managers
If you purchased a multi-seat subscription via our sales team using your email address, by default, you are the subscription owner.
As a subscription owner, you can assign the seats by yourself or share this responsibility with others by adding seat managers.
The seat managers added by you get full access to the Seats page for a particular subscription and all products associated with that subscription. In the same way as you, the seat managers can:
- Assign the product seats to end users via a link or by email.
- Revoke the already assigned seats.
Seat managers are limited to the Seats page for a particular subscription, and their sole responsibility is to assign and revoke seats. As a subscription owner, you remain in charge of your subscription and all its aspects: purchases, cancelations, renewals, and granting product access (assigning product seats to end users).
