Manually Adding a Software Key to a TechSmith Account

If Snagit an/or Camtasia were purchased through a reseller, over the phone, or if the user purchased the product as a guest in the online store, then the software key may not be automatically added to the TechSmith account. Follow these steps to manually add a software key to a TechSmith account.

  1. Open your preferred web browser, and navigate to
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Select the My Products tab at the top.


  4. Select Save a Software Key, or Save Another Software Key.




  5. Enter your software key into the required field.
  6. Select Save Software Key.

Your software key is now saved in your TechSmith account. To add another key, repeat the steps above.
