Step 1: Update the email address associated with TechSmith account
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
- On the Dashboard tab, select Manage account () > Edit primary email and sign-in methods.
- Enter the new email address.
If you ever signed in to your TechSmith account via Google or Apple ID, you have linked accounts. They will be unlinked automatically for data cleanup purposes.
- You will receive an email at your new email address. Confirm that you would like to use it for your TechSmith account.
If you didn't receive the email, please check your spam folder, or resend the email after a few minutes.
- After you confirm the new email:
- Use it to access your TechSmith products and sign in to the TechSmith services.
- We'll use it for all future orders and email notifications.
Can't update your email? Possible reasons:
- You didn't receive a confirmation email or can't access your inbox. Or, you already have a TechSmith account under the new email address. Please submit a ticket, and we'll do our best to assist.
- You have an organizational account, or only ever signed in with your Google or Apple ID. See Sign-In Methods & Linked Accounts FAQ .
Step 2: Access the TechSmith products under the new email address
If you are signed in to any TechSmith products (TechSmith Assets, Screencast, or other), please sign out, and then sign in again with the new email address.
Also, if you are sharing content to Screencast directly from Snagit or Camtasia:
- Open Snagit or Camtasia.
- In the upper-right corner, click your email address, and then Sign Out.
- Sign back in to the product using the new email address.
