TechSmith Return Policy

TechSmith wants you to be satisfied with our products. If, for any reason, the software or service doesn’t meet your needs, you may return it to us within 14 days of the date of purchase for a refund of the product price.

Snagit and Camtasia

Snagit and Camtasia licenses can be refunded within 14 days of the purchase. The software should be uninstalled from your computer.

Screencast Pro

A monthly or annual Screencast subscription will only be refunded if the request is received within 14 days of the purchase date.

If Screencast Pro is not renewed, your account will revert to Free. After 60 days, your Free account will be subject to our content deletion  policy. Videos that have not been viewed within the last 12 months will be removed, and additional content cannot be uploaded until the total video count goes back to 25.

TechSmith Assets

A Snagit or Camtasia Assets subscription will only be refunded if the request is received within 14 days of the purchase date, provided you have not downloaded more than 5 Assets. 

Subscriptions for Audiate, Knowmia Pro, and Video Review are eligible for refunds within 14 days of the purchase or renewal date.


 

Submitting a return/refund request

Please use this form to submit a return request. Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation. Please allow 5-7 business days for the credit to appear on your statement. You will need to uninstall the product from your computer before we issue the refund.

If you purchased the software from one of our authorized resellers or affiliates, then you must contact that company to process your return. We can only accept returns for products purchased directly from TechSmith Corporation.
