Update My Billing Information for My Subscriptions

Online Store Orders

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to the Online store orders tab.
  3. Next to a product, click icon_ellipsis.png > Update payment method.

  4. Select New Payment Method.
  5. Add a new credit card, or link your PayPal or Amazon Pay account.

  6. Once you add a new payment method, next to it, select Make Default. It will now be used for any future charges on your subscription.

Your changes will only apply to the subscription you selected in step 3. You will need to check each subscription and choose the default payment you prefer, or add a separate card using the steps above.


Have trouble accessing manage.techsmith.com? Another option is to:

  1. Visit techsmith.onfastspring.com/account and enter the email address associated with your account.
  2. In your inbox, open the “Manage Your Orders” email and follow the link:

  3. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  4. Next to the product for which you want to update the credit card, select Manage > Update payment method.

  5. Select Add Payment Method and add a new credit card.
  6. Next to the card, select Use This.

    The credit card is marked as Current and will be used for the next payment on this product.

  7. Further troubleshooting:
    • If your renewal payment fails again, make sure that you have selected Use this next to the correct card (see step 7 above).
    • If the correct card is set as Current, but the renewal payment keeps failing, please contact your card issuing bank to confirm that they are not blocking the transaction.

To update your name, phone, or company:

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to the Online store orders tab.
  3. Go to Billing details. You can view the details that you entered during your newest order.
  4. Click Edit details.

  5. Change your name, phone, or company. They will be used for all future purchases in our online store.

To update your billing or shipping address, please submit a ticket.

Direct Orders

If you have an auto-renewing subscription in Direct orders, you can update the credit card for the next renewal payment.

Follow these steps:

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to the Direct orders tab.
  3. Go to Billing details.
  4. Add a new credit card.

  5. Set the new card as primary. It will be used for all future auto-renewal payments.

To edit account details for your future direct orders:

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to the Direct orders tab.
  3. Go to Billing details.
  4. Click Edit details.

  5. Update your account details:
    • General information – Company name.
    • Billing address – Used to generate invoices. Also, important information about your direct orders will be sent to your billing email.
    • Shipping address – Used to calculate taxes. Also, additional information about your direct orders will be sent to your shipping email.

If you would like to update your account details on an already generated invoice, please submit a ticket.
