Update My Billing Information for My Subscriptions

Online Store Orders

To use a different credit card for renewing your maintenance or subscription:

  1. Visit techsmith.onfastspring.com/account and enter the email address associated with your account.
  2. In your inbox, open the “Manage Your Orders” email and follow the link.

  3. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  4. Next to the product for which you want to update the credit card, select Manage > Update payment method.

  5. Select Add Payment Method and add a new credit card.
  6. Next to the card, select Use This.

The credit card is now marked as Current. If you have any questions, please submit a ticket.

If you would like to update your account details on an already generated invoice, please submit a ticket.


To edit the account details for your future orders:

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to Online store orders > Account. You can view the details that you entered during your newest order.
  3. Click Edit details.

  4. Update the details:
    • Account information – Changes to your name, phone, or company will be used for all future purchases (new products, renewals, additional seat purchases).
    • Billing and shipping address – Changes to your address will be used for the new products that you purchase. Please submit a ticket, so that our team can update your address on the already purchased products ahead of renewals or additional seat purchases.

Direct Orders

In manage.techsmith.com > Direct orders, you can view:

Payment method that was used to purchase each subscription.

In this example, Audiate subscription with ID A-S00623226 was purchased using a purchase order.

Payment method that is currently set as primary for your account and will be used by default for all future direct orders.

As long as purchase order is set as the primary payment method, it will be used for all future direct orders on a yearly basis.

You will need to provide the PO number when placing an order:

After your order is placed, please make the payment within 30 days. See this support article.

As long as a credit card is set as the primary payment method (in this example, Visa ****1111), it will be used for all future direct orders.

To use a different credit card, click Add credit card. After you save the new card, set it as primary.

If you would like to update your account details on an already generated invoice, please submit a ticket.


To edit account details for your next direct orders:

  1. Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
  2. Go to the Direct orders tab.

    If you have multiple subscriptions, it does not matter which subscription page you have open—your account details will be updated for all of your subscriptions in direct orders.

  3. Click Edit details.
