What can seat managers do?

Seat managers can manage access to these cloud products:

If someone adds you as a seat manager for one of these products, you’ll receive an email notification titled "Invitation to manage seats".

As a seat manager, you can: 
Assign seats to new end users, so they can start using a product. 
Revoke seats from users who no longer need access.
Resign from seat management at any time.

🚫 You can’t add other seat managers, update the subscription, make purchases, or view invoice and payment details.
These actions are available only to the subscription owner.

How to assign and revoke seats

  1. In the email notification, select Manage seats. Or, go to manage.techsmith.com.
  2. Sign in to your TechSmith account. If you don't have an account yet, you will need to create it.
  3. On the Dashboard > Products I manage, from the product menu, select Manage seats.

  4. To assign a seat:

    • Select Add users and enter the user's email address.
    • Select Get access link to grant product access by sharing a link with users.

  5. To revoke a seat, next to the user's email, select Remove (icon of the remove button).

How to stop being a seat manager

  1. Go to manage.techsmith.com.
  2. Go to the Seats tab.
  3. Select the subscription or product you manage.
  4. Select Resign.

After you resign, you won’t be able to view or assign seats for that subscription or product.
