2. Staying Up to Date

Updates (Free minor fixes)

For minor versions (e.g., 2024.1 to 2024.2), you do not need to download a new file. Inside the software, go to Help Check for Updates.

Upgrades (Major yearly versions)

If you want to move from an older year (e.g., 2023) to a newer year (e.g., 2024), this is a major upgrade. Check your upgrade pricing here.

3. Common Installation Issues

• Permission Denied: Ensure you have "Administrator" rights on your computer before running the installer.
• "Newer Version Installed": If you receive this error, you may need to uninstall a trial or older version first. See Solution.
• Anti-Virus Blocking: Some security software may flag the installer. Try temporarily disabling it during the installation process.
